Alan Shearer has reportedly suggested Arsenal should play Paris Saint-Germain absolutely without fear.
The first leg of the Gunners’ UEFA Champions League semi-final against Luis Enrique’s team is scheduled for Tuesday night at the Emirates Stadium.
PSG may have struggled to impress in the ‘league phase’, but they’ve found their feet in the last quarters of the competition.
The French powerhouses eliminated Liverpool from the round of 16 after sweeping past Stade Brestois in the playoffs, winning 10-0 on aggregate.

When Enrique’s team faced Aston Villa in the first leg of the quarterfinals at the Parc des Princes, they continued where they left off, easily winning 3-1.
At Villa Park, the Parisians took a 2-0 lead in the first 30 minutes before John McGinn pulled one back a little while later. Following the interval, Aston Villa scored twice in three minutes as the floodgates opened.
Enrique was lucky that the French champions were able to maintain their lead.
According to Football London, Shearer said: “There’s no reason Arsenal should have any fear. I don’t think they will, after what they have done in the quarter-final.
“I know they are not going to have [Thomas] Partey in the first game, but I think what they will take confidence from is the way Aston Villa did to PSG, particularly in the second half.
