Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal are reportedly preparing a massive contract offer to sign Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez this summer transfer window.

The Riyadh-based club is ready to offer over £400,000 per week, aiming to lure the Uruguayan away from Anfield in coming weeks.

Liverpool are actively searching for a new centre forward, with Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike both high on their current shortlist.

The Reds’ strong interest in these players suggests they are willing to part ways with Nunez if the right deal arrives.

Napoli had previously expressed interest, but the deal fell through due to Liverpool’s valuation of the 25-year-old forward being too high.

With Napoli now pursuing Lorenzo Lucca instead, Al-Hilal have emerged as strong favourites to secure Nunez’s signature this summer.

Al-Hilal are also willing to meet Liverpool’s asking price to finalise the deal quickly.

Their proposed salary would pay Nunez between €20 and €25 million per season, more than £415,000 every week, reports Liverpool World.

Nunez joined Liverpool from Benfica in 2022 for a hefty fee, but hasn’t fully settled in the Premier League.

Now, a switch to Saudi Arabia could offer a fresh start and a massive payday for the talented South American forward.
