Cristiano Ronaldo has congratulated his son after the youngster made his international debut for Portugal.
During the Vlatko Markovic international tournament in Croatia, the 14-year-old made his debut for the country’s under-15 team off the bench.
And according to rumors, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. was able to show off his skills to a Manchester United scout after playing against Japan.
After 54 minutes, the youngster came onto the field wearing the number seven shirt his father donned back home.

It was also reported that Tottenham attended the youth competition. According to the Croatian publication Sportske Novosti as reported by The Mirror, personnel from Juventus, Atalanta, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Hoffenheim, Red Bull Salzburg, Inter Milan, and Bayern Munich also covered the match.
Although he presently plays in Al-Nassr’s academy, Ronaldo Jr. will be familiar to United fans as a member of the youth setup during his father’s second stint at the club.
While learning his craft at Carrington, the teenager played with Kai, the son of Wayne Rooney.
In his international career, Ronaldo Sr. has amassed 219 caps, and the 40-year-old was happy to watch his son play his first minutes. The legend of Portugal had great pride in his first child.
Ronaldo wrote: “Congratulations on your debut by @selecaoportugal, son. Very proud of you!”
