Rodrygo Ready To Leave Real Madrid; Tired Of Waiting For Opportunity

Rodrygo Goes has reportedly told Real Madrid president, Fiorentino Perez of his desire to seek a move elsewhere before the end of the summer transfer window.

The Brazilian is concerned about how little playing time he may receive this season and feels marginalized in Xabi Alonso’s plans, according to reports from Fichajes as reported by Madrid Universal.

According to the publication, Rodrygo’s main worry is that he is losing ground at the club level, which would affect his chances of making the Brazilian national team list for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

He has previously been informed by Carlo Ancelotti, the current Selecao manager, that his spot in the squad is far from assured in the absence of consistent playing time. Rodrygo is now under even more pressure to decide on his future as a result of this.

During Madrid’s La Liga match opener, the warning signs were already there. Before turning to Rodrygo, Alonso gave young players like Franco Mastantuono and Gonzalo Garcia chances.

The Brazilian is relegated to the position of sixth attacking option because Kylian Mbappe, Vinícius Jr., and Brahim Diaz are all well ahead of him.

Real Madrid Seeking An Offer Of €70-80 Million For Rodrygo

Even though Rodrygo has a hefty release clause and is committed to Real Madrid until 2028, his market prospects have changed.

The club, which formerly valued him at €100 million, are apparently open to negotiating for proposals between €70 and €80 million. Premier League heavyweights Manchester City and Arsenal have already taken notice of this decline.

Pep Guardiola reckons his versatility would enable him to swiftly adjust to English football, while Arsenal see him as a logical match to bolster their attack. However, before submitting a formal bid, both clubs must make wage space available.
