According to a recent MARCA story, Real Madrid defender Raul Asencio has been formally charged for exchanging obscene videos of two women, one of whom is a juvenile.
The case originates from an event in 2023 involving other Real Madrid young players.
According to the site, the Investigating Court number 3 of San Bartolome de Tirajana has decided to prosecute Asencio, along with former teammates Andres Garcia, Ferran Ruiz, and Juan Rodriguez.
The four are suspected of capturing and disseminating personal films of two women without their knowledge, which represents a major invasion of privacy. In one case, a kid is involved, making the situation much more dangerous.
The High Court of Justice of the Canary Islands reported that the judge has completed the investigative process and is pushing the case ahead.

This step allows the Prosecutor’s Office to officially file charges and request a trial. The case is still being handled by the courts, and the final decision to proceed with a full trial will be determined by the prosecution’s next steps. If charges are filed, the accused can still appeal.
Incident traced back to beach club gathering in 2023
According to reports, the incidents occurred in 2023 at a beach club in the Canary Islands’ southern region.
Ruiz, Rodriguez, and Garcia were detained in September. Raul Asencio was initially questioned as a witness, but he was eventually identified as a suspect following further inquiry by the Guardia Civil.
As of yet, both Real Madrid and Asencio’s representatives have declined to comment on the situation. The case is still developing, and depending on the Public Prosecutor’s decision, it may soon be brought to court.
This report casts a pall over Real Madrid’s youth system, raising major concerns about behaviour and accountability among the club’s younger players.
