The Midlands club is considering Lunin as a possible replacement for Emiliano Martinez, who has been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League following a slump in form this season.

Amidst these uncertainty, Aston Villa has began exploring replacements, with Lunin emerging as a strong contender.
Aston Villa have identified Emi Martinez’s replacement.
According to the Birmingham Mail, Villa are seriously contemplating signing the Real Madrid goalkeeper, who is high on their shortlist.
The Ukrainian international is valued at around €40 million (£33 million), a sum Villa may be willing to pay if Martinez leaves.
Lunin is approaching the peak of his career. The towering goalkeeper has always been considered as a remarkable talent, having joined Real Madrid in 2018 as one of Europe’s most promising prospects.
Despite his little playing time behind the experienced Thibaut Courtois, Lunin has constantly impressed when called upon.

He was so good that he was considered for the Champions League final last season, but as Courtois recovered, Carlo Ancelotti preferred the Belgian goalie.
His quick reflexes, commanding presence, and sharp decision-making have made him a popular choice for clubs trying to improve their goalkeeping ranks.
Aston Villa would consider it a big coup to sign a player of Lunin’s level.
