Real Madrid Set To Loan Striker To France In €800,000 January Deal

Real Madrid’s 19-year-old forward Endrick is reportedly close to joining French side Olympique Lyonnais on loan this January.

According to Canal+ Foot, the deal is in its final negotiation stages, with both clubs agreeing on a paid loan worth around €800,000.

The agreement includes performance-related clauses, ensuring Lyon benefits from Endrick’s potential while Real Madrid safeguards his development progress.

Loan Terms and Recall Clause Under Discussion

One reported clause imposes financial penalties if Endrick fails to play at least 25 matches for Lyon during his stay.

Real Madrid have also agreed to cover part of his wages, demonstrating their commitment to seeing him gain valuable playing experience abroad.

However, the clubs are still debating the recall clause — Madrid want the option to bring him back before January 31, while Lyon prefers a January 15 limit.

Endrick has played just 11 minutes this season, signaling he’s not currently in Carlo Ancelotti’s first-team plans, reports Madrid Universal.

A loan move offers him much-needed minutes, and Lyon’s Europa League involvement provides an ideal stage to grow.

The young Brazilian has already spoken with Lyon boss Paulo Fonseca and is reportedly excited about the move.

Endrick believes Fonseca’s clear tactics and communication will help him adapt quickly and revive his form in France.
