Real Madrid Moving Quickly To Re-Sign Former Academy Star

Real Madrid are reportedly working tirelessly to re-sign Nico Paz before the end of June.

According to SPORT as reported by Madrid Universal, in order to put the Argentine prodigy from Como in the team for the Club World Cup in the United States, Los Blancos are attempting to re-sign him before June 30th.

A €9 million buyback clause was included in the agreement when Real Madrid sold him to Como, and it goes into effect on July 1.

But Madrid would prefer that he return in time to register and compete in the Club World Cup, which begins on June 14.

In order to expedite his return, Madrid might need to come to a separate deal with Como, most likely involving monetary compensation or a player exchange from La Fabrica.

Nico has shown remarkable growth at Como. The 20-year-old attacking midfielder has developed into one of Serie A’s breakout stars under Cesc Fabregas’ tutelage, contributing significantly to Como’s success and gaining his manager’s confidence.

Top Italian clubs have reportedly expressed interest in him as a result of his performances. However, Madrid have complete control over his future thanks to their buyback clause.

The long-term goal is obvious, even though the agreement to re-sign him might be more expensive. Incoming manager Xabi Alonso, though not yet formally announced, is thought to be a major advocate for integrating young players which is in contrast to Carlo Ancelotti.
