Following Aurelien Tchouameni’s injury at Real Madrid, Eduardo Camavinga, the squad’s only like-for-like substitute, has stolen the focus.
The Frenchman, who has missed a considerable portion of the season due to injury, has just lately returned to form and is now anticipated to play a key role for Los Blancos following the ongoing international break, when he has been called up by Didier Deschamps.
According to a new update from L’Equipe, Camavinga did not train with the team in last evening’s session, which appears to be a troubling development for Los Blancos.
Nursing a knock.
According to the French outlet, Camavinga and Barcelona’s Jules Kounde signed autographs for fans on their way to training before taking a detour and separating from the other 22 players called up.
The two then ran some workouts with Cyril Moine, the team’s physical trainer.

While the information appears to be concerning, it has been confirmed that they will play against Ukraine in the first friendly of the sabbatical.
It looks like Camavinga was only carrying a knock from Real Madrid’s game against Rayo Vallecano, and that there is no new injury.
The choice to train separately appears to be made solely out of caution.
From Real Madrid’s perspective, the club would definitely prefer that the player be used sparingly in the coming games in order to prioritize his fitness and reduce the possibility of injury.
After all, he will be important for them once the break is over.
Camavinga has appeared in eight league games for Real Madrid this season, starting only three of them.
He plays under 45 minutes per game and has yet to score a goal or assist in the competition.
