Real Madrid are apparently interested in signing Vitinha, a Paris Saint-Germain midfielder.
According to Fichajes, the Spanish giants may even try a swap deal for the Portugal international, offering Rodrygo Goes to PSG as part of any bid.
Vitinha has been a world-class performer for PSG, ranking third in this year’s Ballon d’Or after playing a key role in helping Luis Enrique’s team win their first Champions League trophy.
It makes sense that Real Madrid would want to raid PSG for this top player as they attempt to catch up with the French giants this season.
Real Madrid to make a swap bid for Vitinha?
Vitinha is certainly the kind of Galactico moniker that could fit in well at Real Madrid, and his fluid style of play suggests he would be a strong tactical match for incoming boss Xabi Alonso.
Still, PSG will not want to be pushed here and will most likely remain firm, even if the offer of Rodrygo as part of the deal is appealing to them.

The Brazilian is a top-tier attacking talent who might help PSG and many other major European clubs, but Enrique currently has comparable options in that position.
Will Rodrygo play regularly for PSG?
Rodrygo is unlikely to feature regularly in this PSG front line because there are so many other star players.
Ousmane Dembele can play up front or out wide, and his world-class exploits recently earned him first place in this year’s Ballon d’Or, so there will undoubtedly be no desire to replace him anytime soon.
Meanwhile, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Desire Doue, and Bradley Barcola have all performed admirably for PSG, and Rodrygo does not appear to be an obvious upgrade above any of them.
If Vitinha were to transfer to the Bernabeu, it would almost certainly take outrageous money or an even greater name moving in the opposite direction.
