Real Madrid are reportedly willing to make a move for Liverpool defender, Ibrahima Konate this summer.
The French defender has just one year left on his existing deal and Los Blancos are eager to make him the second player to leave Merseyside for Laliga after Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The France international is well-liked in Valdebebas’ offices, and since his contract is about to expire in a year, a comparable possibility to the one with Alexander-Arnold can arise.
According to recent reports, Konate rejected Liverpool’s initial offer of a new contract, which will further heighten Real Madrid’s hopes of acquiring him.

Although a deal might be reached in 2025, the intention is to sign him as a free agent next summer.
The Spanish giants are eager to buy Konate right away, according to CaughtOffside as reported by Football Espana, but they have set a maximum price of £25 million to close a deal with Liverpool.
The Premier League winners would prefer at least £40 million to let the 26-year-old to depart immediately, so they would not entertain taking this sum.
Konate is also being pursued by Paris Saint-Germain, who may have an edge over Real Madrid because they would be able to bring him back to his home country of France as current European champions that they are.
Officials at Los Blancos, however, won’t be too worried about this because they think that any player in international football will be enticed to join them.
