Earlier today, it was revealed that Alvaro Arbeloa’s employment at Real Madrid is not only a temporary solution, but the administration’s genuine aim for the commencement of a long-term project.
The former Castilla manager has signed a contract that will keep him in charge of the first squad beyond June, and he may be sidelined for a longer period of time if the results go his way.
However, it is realistic to assume that Real Madrid is keeping a close check on other great managers on the market in preparation for a possible situation in June when a new, forceful manager is needed in the dressing room.
Klopp is an option.
According to a recent update from Fabrizio Romano, several top Real Madrid figures sincerely love and admire everything Jurgen Klopp stands for as a manager.
They admire his ability to command the locker room, convey his ideas, and even handle the press with grace.

He has, however, taken a break from coaching and is now in an administrative position. If he returns to coaching or shows signs of interest in returning, he will undoubtedly be an option for Los Blancos.
Needless to say, the earliest such a situation may materialize is in June, and it is entirely reliant on Klopp’s position on a return to management and his vision for the Real Madrid job.
The Real Madrid target was among the first to express his shock at Alonso’s dismissal, blaming the club’s management and players for allowing the situation to deteriorate.
“First of all, I think it’s another sign that something isn’t quite right there at the moment.”
“If Xabi Alonso, who over the last two years in Leverkusen has shown what an outstanding coaching talent he is, is then forced to leave Madrid just six months later, it shows a few things,” according to him.
Needless to say, he is well aware of the pressure and criticism that comes with the Real Madrid job, and it remains to be seen whether he is willing to accept it at this stage of his career.
