Real Madrid And Rodrygo Set For Exit Talks Next Week

Rodrygo Goes is reportedly set to have a discussion with Real Madrid over the possibility of leaving the club this summer.

The 24-year-old, who has been linked with moves to Arsenal and Liverpool, did not feature in Madrid’s humiliating 4-0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the Club World Cup semi-final.

Under new coach Xabi Alonso, Rodrgyo only got 100 minutes of playing time in the tournament and made just one appearance in the United States, as players like Brahim Diaz and Gonzalo Garcia were given preference.

Fabrizio Romano claims that next week, the forward will discuss his future with the team. According to Portuguese publication Globo, Rodrygo still wants to stay at the Bernabeu even though his function is becoming less important.

According to the outlet, the sensitive scenario is “like a game of chess,” where the player waits to find out the club’s perspective before making a decision.

PSG have reportedly expressed interest in signing the Champions League winner, in addition to the two English clubs who were previously believed to be interested.

In light of the continued uncertainty surrounding Rodrygo’s future, ESPN Brazil reports that PSG have contacted his representatives.

Though the interest hasn’t progressed yet, PSG manager Luis Enrique is rumored to be a huge fan of the 24-year-old.

Rodrygo was linked to the Parisians last summer, and they are eager to capitalize on their good position following their Champions League triumph last season.
