Rashford Wows Barcelona Players As Four Qualities Impress Coaches

Barcelona’s signing of Marcus Rashford has reportedly stunned several members of the club with the Manchester United loanee impressing the coaching staff.

After Luis Diaz joined Bayern Munich and Nico Williams signed a new deal with Athletic Club, Barcelona made a move for Rashford.

Barca felt Raphinha needed more help, so they prioritized the left wing position and eventually brought in the 27-year-old.

Given his versatility, the Englishman can also cover for Robert Lewandowski in the center-forward position if necessary.

Rashford signed a season-long loan deal with Barca that contains a €30 million (£26 million, $35 million) buyout option.

He will do everything in his power to persuade them that such an investment is worthwhile in the hopes of becoming a permanent member of the La Liga giants.

Rashford has made three preseason appearances so far, managing one goal and one assist during Barcelona’s Asian trip.

Sport, as cited by Team Talk claims that Rashford’s signing has impressed Barca’s up-and-coming players.

Young players who looked up to Rashford during their childhood, including Lamine Yamal, Hector Fort, Roony Bardghji, and Guille Fernandez, are “amazed.”

Not only has the 27-year-old wowed players like Yamal, Fernandez, and Bardghji, but he is also making a concerted effort to persuade coaches of his skill set and attitude.

Rashford is “reserved, kind, caring, and hardworking,” according to the report, qualities that Hansi Flick and his coaching staff greatly value.

The England international is currently hindered by a language barrier, as one might anticipate, but he is taking private classes to get around this.
