Marcus Rashford has triggered fresh concerns at Barcelona after missing training for the second straight day.
The Manchester United loanee returned from England duty earlier in the week but was unable to participate in Thursday’s session due to illness.
The winger attempted to rejoin the squad at Ciutat Esportiva on Friday morning, but Spanish reports claim he was sent home shortly after arriving.
Rashford is said to be battling a severe cold and fever, leaving staff worried about his condition ahead of the weekend.

The 28-year-old is one of only two Barcelona players to feature in every game this season, making his sudden absence even more alarming for Hansi Flick’s side.
Star Winger Doubtful For Athletic Club Clash
With Barcelona set to return to Camp Nou for the first time in over two years, Rashford had hoped to play a central role.
However, Flick admitted in his press conference that the forward is now a major doubt for Saturday’s La Liga clash with Athletic Club.
The club is expected to release a medical update explaining his situation, with Rashford still showing symptoms on Friday.
Before falling ill, the England international had been in outstanding form, scoring six goals and providing nine assists in 16 games.
He has particularly impressed in Europe, netting braces against both Newcastle and Olympiacos in the Champions League.
Rashford’s absence adds to Barcelona’s growing list of concerns, with Pedri also doubtful after training separately all week, reports Mirror.
There is some relief for Flick, as Joan Garcia, Raphinha, Marc Casado and Lamine Yamal have all returned to full fitness.
Rashford is now targeting Tuesday’s crucial Champions League trip to Stamford Bridge, where Barcelona face Chelsea in the league-phase showdown.
