PSG Release Statement On Dembele Injury Ahead Of Arsenal Clash

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly confirmed that Ousmane Dembele has suffered a hamstring string and is a major doubt ahead of the club’s second-leg UEFA Champions League semi final clash against Arsenal.

With 33 goals in all competitions this season, Dembele has been a vital player of the French team and scored the game’s lone goal in the first leg against Arsenal on Tuesday night.

The Ligue 1 champions have also revealed that Presnel Kimpembe, their center-back, will miss the Arsenal encounter due to a foot injury that will keep him out of action for several weeks.

“Ousmane Dembele has strained his right hamstring. “His condition is progressing well. A further assessment will be carried out shortly.”

At his pre-match press conference on Friday, PSG manager Enrique announced that Dembele will not play in Saturday’s Ligue 1 encounter against Strasbourg.
