Premier League Club Requesting £100–120M For Man United, Newcastle Target

Nottingham Forest are reportedly demanding for a fee in excess of £100 million for Elliot Anderson.

Journalist Florian Plettenberg reports that Manchester United and Newcastle United are at the top of the expanding list of Premier League clubs keeping an eye on Anderson.

Following his transfer to Nottingham Forest, the 22-year-old midfield player has drawn interest from some of the best teams.

With no release clause in Anderson’s contract, Forest are said to be requesting between £100 and £120 million as they prepare for a possible summer transfer war. This indicates how highly the club value Anderson at the City Ground.

Anderson has developed into the team’s creative engine, and both Manchester United and Newcastle United are especially impressed with his ability to create from the midfield.

Anderson has earned a spot on the shortlist of managers Eddie Howe and Ruben Amorim, who are both searching for a new midfielder for next season.

The former Newcastle star has been thoroughly scouted by United, and Amorim is searching for more consistency in the middle of the park, so they believe he may be a part of their long-term plans under the Portuguese boss.

The midfield player is not for sale, according to Forest, unless an extraordinary offer comes along.

They have all the power going into next year since Anderson is a key player in their long-term project and his present contract has no release clause.
