Pedri’s injury came as a big setback to Hansi Flick’s ambitions last month, and he has not played for the team since El Clasico.
In a way, however, his injury has come as a blessing in disguise, as the player had been stretched to the edge and hardly rested over the past year.
In a recent interview on the YouTube channel “xBuyer” as cited by Barca Universal, Pedri was asked to choose his favorite La Masia player. The player seemed certain that young Dro was his choice.
“The one I like the most is Dro, he is very good, he has a lot of quality and it seems that he does not have a hard time doing things.”

In response to the question regarding the player he would choose to sign for the team if he could, he named one of the best from Bayern Munich.
“A player that I freak out [looking at] is [Jamal] Musiala, he is very good.”
When asked if he would desire to retire at the club, the Barcelona midfielder responded: “I don’t think about it right now, there is still a lot left. But yes, why not? If they don’t kick me out,” he said jovially.
The UEFA Champions League was a major goal for the dressing room this season, he explained.
“Let’s go for the sixth, hopefully.”
