Nottingham Forest head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has admitted his relationship with owner Evangelos Marinakis has deteriorated significantly.
The Portuguese manager warned there is “no smoke without fire” when asked about reports suggesting his imminent dismissal.
Nuno penned a new three-year contract in June after leading Forest to European football for the first time in decades, reports Daily Star.
He revealed his communication with Marinakis is no longer daily, marking a stark change from last season’s close relationship.
The manager emphasized that his primary focus remains the squad and preparing for the season ahead despite tensions.
