Nike Delete Post Following Announcement Of Chelsea Kit Early

Nike appeared to have jumped the gun by revealing the new Chelsea home uniform for the upcoming campaign and then taking it off from social media.

Clubs usually reveal their new strips around this time of year, but there is still a lot to play for in the 2024–25 season.

‘16.05.25’ was posted alongside a themed coffee mug on Instagram as Chelsea hinted at the release of their next home kit.

According to talkSPORT, Manufacturers Nike broke the news a day early when pictures of the outfit were posted to their social media accounts.

The kit is still royal blue, has a pattern all over it, and the collar has a touch of white added to it.

In anticipation of Friday’s expected release, Nike posted official photos of the jersey on Thursday but deleted them less than an hour later.

Chelsea have revealed that on May 20, fans can come to Stamford Bridge for a signing session.

Hannah Hampton and Sjoeke Nusken will represent the women’s team, while Enzo Fernandez and Marc Cucurella will play for the men’s team.

Compared to their existing strip, which has orange hues and a wavy pattern, the new home kit appears to be less colorful.

Chelsea also spent a large portion of the season without a front-of-shirt sponsor, however they currently feature DAMAC Properties on their team gear.

Until the campaign’s conclusion, the Dubai-based real estate development firm will hold the position.

The pictures show sponsorless outfit, so it’s unclear who will be on the Blues’ shirts come next season.
