Igor Tudor referred to Arsenal as ‘possibly the best team in the world’ following Tottenham’s most recent crushing loss in the north London derby.
Eberechi Eze, who also scored a hat-trick against Tottenham in another 4-1 thumping back in November, and Viktor Gyokeres each scored a brace as Spurs’ fiercest rivals easily defeated them 4-1 on Sunday, marking new manager Tudor’s first game as Spurs’ interim manager.
Randal Kolo Muani quickly responded to Eze’s opening goal to level the score 1-1. He also had a chance to keep the score at 2-2, but a push on Gabriel disallowed the goal after halftime.
The hosts’ relegation fears grew on yet another gloomy afternoon that extended their 2026 Premier League winless streak.

Tudor Gives His Assessment Of Tottenham And Arsenal
After yet another forgettable derby day for Tottenham, Tudor, who was brought in as a temporary replacement for the fired Thomas Frank, was candid in his evaluation of both teams, stating that he had witnessed “the truth” about his new team and a squad that included “good players with bad habits.”
“We need more time to be in a physical moment and physical situation where we can go strong and take the ball. Now we are not in that moment,” the Croatian told Sky Sports as quoted by the Evening Standard.
