Manchester United legend, Gary Neville has reportedly claimed Liverpool are the only club that can prevent Arsenal from winning the 2025/26 Premier League title.
Even though Arne Slot’s team finally put a stop to their terrible run of four straight top-flight defeats over the weekend, they are still seven points behind the Gunners.
While the difference might seem big, teams have bounced back from much worse situations in the past. Manchester City overcame eight-point deficits following 28 games in 2022–2023 and 17 games in 2023–2024 to win the championship,
Arsenal’s own victory in the 1997–98 season, when they overturned Manchester United’s 13-point lead after 19 games to win the title, continues to be the greatest ever comeback.

Neville Claims Arsenal Could Lose Out On The Premier League Title
Neville shared his opinion while talking about the title race this season on NBC Sports.
The former United defender said: “Look, Arsenal can lose the title from here. I understand why Mikel Arteta, the Arsenal players and even the fans will play down the idea that they have to win it this season.
“But they’re the most consistent team, and they’ve been building up to this now for three or four seasons. I actually tipped them for the title for the past three seasons, and they’ve obviously fallen short.
“Arsenal would have to beat themselves not to win it. I don’t think Man City are going to get back to a level they’ve been at previously and come back at Arsenal.
“Pep Guardiola is a genius but he hasn’t got the players or the team playing at the level needed. Liverpool are the only team but they would have to get back on track very quickly.”
