Jose Mourinho has reportedly identified Liverpool winger, Federico Chiesa as his priority signing for Fenerbahce ahead of the summer transfer window.
After joining the Reds in August for an initial sum of £10 million, which could increase to £12.5 million depending on add-ons, the Italian international has had a dismal first season.
The 27-year-old was praised as a “bargain” who may give Liverpool’s attacking talent more depth, and he was the only major acquisition during Arne Slot’s first transfer window.
However, despite making four appearances this season, the Euro 2020 winner has only played 33 minutes of Premier League action.

According to the Daily Mail, Mourinho, 62, is eager to improve his wide attacking responsibilities, and has made Chiesa his top target in the forthcoming transfer window.
Chiesa, who can play on either wing or across the front line, missed 14 games from September to December due to a muscular issue.
The former Juventus player, who graduated from Fiorentina’s academy, has 51 Italy caps and seven goals.
Chiesa must anxiously wait to know if he will be eligible for a winners medal, as players must make at least five league appearances to secure one, as Liverpool crushed Spurs 5-1 last weekend to wrap up the Premier League title.
Since signing a four-year contract, the Liverpool star has had few chances to establish himself in the starting lineup, with Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo, and goal-scoring sensation Mohamed Salah spearheading the attack.
