Mohamed Salah Urged To Follow Kenny Dalglish After Fiery Liverpool Interview

Mohamed Salah advised to take a cue from another Liverpool great Sir Kenny Dalglish and apologize for his outburst. Gordon Strachan, a former manager of Scotland, Middlesbrough, and Celtic, believes that.

Salah  planned to speak with Arne Slot today (Friday) after he stated he no longer had a relationship with the Liverpool head coach following his selection to the replacements bench for the third consecutive game.

After being left out of the final of those games, a 3-3 draw with Leeds United, the third-highest goalscorer in Reds history gave a heated interview to reporters, including Paul Gorst of the ECHO, in the Elland Road mixed zone, claiming he had been “thrown under the bus” by the team that had won every major trophy in the previous nine years.

After being left out of the team that defeated Inter 1-0 at the San Siro in the Champions League on Tuesday, it is unclear if Salah will play against Brighton & Hove Albion at Anfield on Saturday before joining his Egypt international teammates for the Africa Cup of Nations.

Furthermore, Strachan, a midfield powerhouse who played for Aberdeen, Manchester United, and Leeds United, thinks the 33-year-old just has to apologize.

“He’s given us wonderful football over the years,” he declared. He appears to be a modest man who goes about his work. I hope he wakes up this morning and asks himself, “What have I done?” after that outburst.

“I hope he simply apologizes to everyone. Everybody has periods of insanity that can astonish those around them or confuse the rest of the world.

“I hope he’s reflecting on how long he’s been at the club, how well he’s been treated, and how many wonderful people he’s worked with and played with.
