Egypt qualified for the FIFA World Cup 26 with a 3-0 victory over Djibouti, securing their spot in the global showcase with one game remaining after missing out on Qatar 2022. Egypt easily secured their place at the World Cup 26 thanks to two goals from Salah. In Casablanca, the Pharaohs quickly took the lead over Djibouti as Zizo lofted a cross into the area, where Ibrahim Adel headed home without any opposition. According to FIFA, it was soon two when Salah caught a through pass and put it in the net.
Egypt could play as they pleased with the two-goal lead, and Salah finished the celebrations with a beautifully executed volley in the dying seconds.
Ghana advanced to the verge of joining them, with Jordan Ayew emerging as the standout. After a valiant comeback, Cabo Verde is also the favorite to win their area, but Cameroon’s victory kept them in the running.

Ghana’s crushing victory in El Jadida virtually guaranteed them a spot in the world championships. When the unmarked Mohammed Salisu headed home a Mohammed Kudus corner, Otto Addo’s troops were rewarded for their hard work.
Thomas Partey doubled the lead after Jordan Ayew skillfully sidestepped two opponents. Before the latter’s brilliant volley put him on the scoresheet, Alexander Djiku headed home the third from an Ayew corner.
Kamaldeen Sulemana finished the rout at the back post, and Ayew was once more engaged.
With one round remaining, Ghana leads second-place Madagascar by three points and has a far better goal differential.
However, the hopes of Angola, Comoros, Guinea-Bissau, Mali and Sierra Leone were extinguished.
