Mikel Arteta Admits To Being ‘Unsatisfied’ As He Sets Huge Goals For Arsenal Stars

Mikel Arteta claims Arsenal are now “unsatisfied” with their wins at Manchester United, despite having gone years without a Premier League victory at Old Trafford.

The Gunners started their season on the right foot, defeating the Red Devils 1-0 despite being the better team for many stretches of the game. Riccardo Calafiori’s early header finally settled the game, forcing the visitors to dig in. According To Mirror News.

Patrick Dorgu hit the post in one of United’s 22 attempts at goal, as their new look attack caused numerous issues. Arsenal’s defence remained solid, and they, like Liverpool and Manchester City, started the year with three points.

Despite their win, Arsenal now depart Manchester with a sense of dissatisfaction, according to Arteta, marking a significant shift given that Old Trafford was rarely a location of success for them. Arsenal had not won a league game on the red side of Manchester in 14 years before to their victory in 2020.

Sunday’s win is their second in three visits, and Arteta said it was “massive” to come here with the atmosphere and the new signings. We have to be humble about how we scored the goal and won the game in both boxes, like we did tonight.

“I look at the athletes’ faces, and they want so much more. We are aware that we are far superior to specific moments in which we played. Before I arrived here, we hadn’t won at Old Trafford in 18 or 20 years, but now we’ve won several times and are still dissatisfied. We need to be cautious against a squad with the speed in the front line to threaten in that manner.”
