Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca made an untimely jab at defender Tosin Adarabioyo after the Blues’ midweek defeat at Leeds United and cited his one regret from the match.
Chelsea suffered a crushing 3-1 loss at Elland Road on Wednesday night, ending their otherwise successful run of play.
Ao Tanaka gave the home team a second goal after the west London club had conceded from a set piece in the first ten minutes.
Shortly after halftime, Pedro Neto scored, but it was insufficient as Dominic Calvert-Lewin struck the game’s last blow late on, and Maresca’s team was unable to generate any form of reply.

As a result, they are still in fourth place in the Premier League standings. This weekend, they will go to Bournemouth, a match they must win to stay in the top four.
Maresca Publicly Calls Tosin Out
According to Football London, the manager, who specifically mentioned Adarabioyo, feels that some players’ poor performances were more to blame for the outcome.
“We are always talking about experience when we drop points but when we beat Barcelona and drew with Arsenal, no one is talking about experienced players,” he explained on Friday morning. “This was not the reason.
“We have experienced players, one that was suspended and one who has an injury. Who was the most experienced player for us in the week? Tosin. Did he play good? So it is not about experience.
“One of the regrets I have after the game is that I didn’t play with Josh,” Maresca added.
“The reason why we played with Trevoh, Benoit and Tosin was because we saw long balls to their strikers, but even that, we lost most of them.”
