Marc Guehi will see many familiar faces around Manchester City when he trains with his new teammates later this week.
The Blues’ new acquisition completed his £20 million move from Crystal Palace on Monday, but he will be unable to join City in Norway for tonight’s Champions League match against Bodo/Glimt since January signings cannot be added to Champions League rosters until the window closes. Guehi will therefore have to wait to train with his new teammates before potentially making his debut against Wolves on Saturday. Reported By Manchester Evening News.
However, having played with several City players on the international level for England, he expects to adjust quickly to his new surroundings. And, in his first interview after signing, he mentioned three new teammates as players who can help on and off the field as Guehi and City look for a successful second half of the season and silverware.

“It’s a squad with amazing experience,” he told me. “There are so many athletes who have played at a high level and won so many awards. There are many fascinating young players who have joined the squad and desire to do their best.
“With the arrival of Antoine [Semenyo] who is an amazing player and he’s proven himself in the Premier League – it’s fantastic and I just want to come in and help and just do my part, be one of the lads and just try to improve.”
Guehi formed a close friendship with Phil Foden and John Stones during their time in England camps. The latter is scheduled to leave the Etihad in the summer when his contract expires, and Guehi is effectively his City successor.
