Manchester United’s Top Player ‘Confused’ By Ruben Amorim As Old Trafford Team Threatens Mutiny

Manchester United drawing closer to their latest full-blown crisis with the squad still languishing in the lower reaches of the Premier League league after four matches.

The Red Devils were defeated brutally by local rivals Manchester City at the weekend, scarcely putting a touch on Pep Guardiola’s players.

While Amorim’s career is not in jeopardy, Old Trafford sources say fans have begun to demand change in order to avoid a repetition of last season’s poor 15th place result.

Manchester United squad is ‘puzzled’ by Ruben Amorim’s refusal to adjust.

During the summer transfer window, Manchester United spent more than £200 million on new offensive talent but did little to strengthen the rest of Amorim’s squad.

Senne Lammens arrived late in the window to battle Altay Bayindir for the No.1 place, but aside from the Belgian goalkeeper, Manchester United’s squad remains mostly unchanged from last year.

So far this season, new offensive trio Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha, and Benjamin Sesko have combined for only one goal.

According to a new Daily Mirror article, key Manchester United players are ‘confused’ and ‘frustrated’ by Amorim’s apparent refusal to adjust the team’s tactical configuration.

Man United have been too easy to beat for nearly a year, but Amorim appears to be stuck in his ways, which have yet to pay off.

“Amorim’s inflexible 3-4-3 formation and refusal to adjust to any other setup is reported to have generated significant worry among key squad members.

“Some United players are said to feel Amorim is undermining them by repeatedly asking them to fit into a system they are not equipped to play,” according to the story.

While the identities of the disgruntled Manchester United players have not been revealed, the possibility of a dressing room mutiny is heightened by the fact that senior team members are reportedly dissatisfied with the Portuguese coach’s setup.

Despite Old Trafford’s backing, Amorim remains the bookmakers’ second-favourite to be the next manager to be fired.
