Manchester United Star ‘Coming Closer’ To Barcelona Deal As Red Devils Announce Increased Price For Rashford

Marcus Rashford, Manchester United’s attacker ‘coming closer’ to joining La Liga giants Barcelona this summer, according to sources.

Rashford left Old Trafford in the January transfer window, with Aston Villa taking him on loan for the rest of the season following a disagreement with Ruben Amorim.

The Manchester United forward scored ten goals in 17 matches at Villa Park during a brilliant loan stay that has strengthened his profile across Europe, much to the joy of the Red Devils.

It is evident that Rashford will leave this summer unless Amorim makes an extraordinary U-turn, having openly indicated in January that he would rather play his goalie coach than the Manchester United attacker.

When asked why Rashford was not chosen, Amorim responded in a press conference: “It’s always the same reason: training, the way I feel a footballer should do in life. Every day, every detail.

“You can see on the bench that we are missing some pace. But I would choose [Manchester United goalie coach Jorge] Vital over a guy who doesn’t give his all every day.” Reported By Football365.

Amorim did confess that he was “really happy” to see Rashford playing well on loan; in April, he said: “All loan players will return, and the club will decide what to do at the end of the season.” We are pleased with Rashford and Antony’s talent, as loan players are expected to perform well.
