Manchester United Players Support Marcus Rashford Following His Emotional Exit Statement

Marcus RashfordMarcus Rashford intimated that his future may not be at Aston Villa after sending an emotional message at the end of his loan stay.

The Englishman spent the second half of the 2024/25 season at Villa Park, where he saw a resurgence, but a hamstring injury forced him to miss the club’s final games.

Rashford scored four goals and contributed six assists in 17 appearances for the club, helping Unai Emery’s team finish sixth in the Premier League and narrowly missing out on UEFA Champions League qualification.

Villa has the option to make the deal permanent this summer for £40 million, which is currently unclear as the player considers his future.

It will not be at United, however, as rumors indicate that Ruben Amorim is still unwilling to incorporate him back into the group.

However, Rashford’s heartfelt ‘farewell’ shared online appears to put an end to any speculation over his future at Villa.

Taking to Instagram, he wrote: “Just a letter of thanks to everyone at Villa for what has been a great few months for me, injury apart. It is a truly wonderful club, and I enjoyed how Villa fans welcomed me with open arms from the first minute on the pitch.

“The manager, team, and coaching staff have all been fantastic. I know it’s a great disappointment not to have made the Champions League, which everyone fought so hard for all season, but I’m confident this club and team can come back stronger.”
