Man Utd ‘Decide On Ruben Amorim Sack’ If Tottenham Win Europa League Final

Manchester United are planning for next season with Ruben Amorim as head coach, even if they lose the Europa League final to Tottenham Hotspur, according to sources. Amorim has experienced a dreadful debut season at the helm, but he is poised to get the summer transfer window to rebuild his squad.

Despite his desire to wait until the conclusion of the season, the Portuguese manager gave up his self-built empire at Sporting to replace Erik ten Hag in November. He has led United to a European final, winning nine and drawing two of his 11 games, but the club is having its worst Premier League season ever.

According to The Guardian, Manchester United ‘plan to keep’ Amorim as head coach next season, even if they lose the Europa League final.

Their Europa League campaign has provided some hope in an otherwise disappointing season, as Amorim has struggled at Old Trafford since his hiring.

Man United suffered their latest blow on Sunday, when West Ham defeated the team 2-0.

Amorim cut a prickly figure in his post-match press conference, claiming responsibility for his team’s performance.

“How a manager of Manchester United is supposed to feel in that position: embarrassed and it’s hard to accept,” according to him.

“Everyone here needs to seriously consider a number of things. We need to be really strong and fearless during the summer.

“We’re losing the sense that we’re a massive club, and losing a home game is the end of the world.” I believe that is our club’s primary focus.”
