Man United Receive Triple Injury Boost Ahead Of Tottenham Showdown

Manchester United have reportedly been handed triple injury boost ahead of their UEFA Europa League final clash against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday.

Despite having terrible domestic campaigns, the two Premier League teams will play for a European trophy on Wednesday night at San Mames Stadium in Bilbao. Both made separate, but strangely comparable, preparations for the main event.

Due to slightly different preparations, United have not yet flown over to Spain, so Tuesday’s open training session will be held at Carrington.

Spurs’ injury news has been everything but encouraging, but United appears to have received three boosts.

According to Football London, Joshua Zirkzee, Leny Yoro, and Diogo Dalot were caught during the training session as they now seemed to have returned to full team training.

After suffering a hamstring injury during the 4-1 loss to Newcastle United, Zirkzee was ruled out for the season. However, it appears that he has unexpectedly recovered.

The only drawback was that Matthijs de Ligt is still absent, obviously still affected by the incident against Brentford earlier this month. Due to a severe knee injury, Lisandro Martinez will also miss the final.

Since Ayden Heaven and Amad’s recent returns have eased United’s problems, it is likely that those three returning players will only be on the bench if judged fit enough to play given game time.
