Manchester United are reportedly eyeing a transfer move for Sunderland midfielder, Noah Sadiki, who the see as a cheaper alternative to Brighton and Hove Albion star, Carlos Baleba.
There is no question that United will add at least one new midfield player in 2026. Additionally, two or possibly three new faces could join the engine room if the Red Devils have their way.
Casemiro, Manuel Ugarte, and Kobbie Mainoo all have uncertain futures at Old Trafford. Casemiro’s current contract expires at the end of the season, but United want the iconic Brazilian to sign a new one—but only if he takes a substantial pay cut.
According to Sky Sports, Man United are “all in” to sign Sunderland’s Sadiki.

Sadiki was born, raised, and played in Belgium before deciding to represent the Democratic Republic of the Congo internationally.
The 20-year-old moved from Belgian team USG to Sunderland for almost £15 million during the summer.
Sadiki Made Immediate Impact For Sunderland
He has had an immediate impact in England, helping Regis Le Bris’ team get off to a blistering start and starting all 15 of their Premier League games.
Chelsea are also keeping a close eye on the midfielder. But a transfer to United would undoubtedly be more alluring because Sadiki would have a much higher chance of making the starting lineup right away.
Sadiki would battle for the spot with Moises Caicedo at Stamford Bridge.
United are also said to be prepared to go all out to recruit Adam Wharton in January and are willing to give Crystal Palace a sum that exceeds his valuation.
