Manchester United have reported their sixth consecutive annual loss, despite announcing record-breaking revenues of £666.5 million for 2024/25.
The Red Devils endured a difficult season, finishing 15th in the Premier League, their lowest league position in over half a century.

United also missed out on Champions League football, instead suffering Europa League heartbreak when losing the final against Tottenham in Bilbao.
Despite setbacks, revenues rose by 0.7 percent to £666.5 million, while operating losses dropped from £69.3 million to £18.4 million.
Overall losses narrowed to £33 million, compared with £113.2 million the previous year, thanks to significant cost-cutting measures led by ownership.
Cost-Cutting Measures and Commercial Boosts
Co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s unpopular staff reductions were cited as key to reducing financial strain and stabilizing United’s operating performance.
Chief executive Omar Berrada praised the club’s resilience, insisting restructuring and squad reinforcements were laying foundations for long-term sporting and commercial growth.
United also secured record commercial revenues of £333.3 million, boosted by their new Snapdragon sponsorship, alongside record matchday income of £160.3 million.
Despite lacking European football this season, United project revenues between £640 million and £660 million, reflecting continued global financial strength, reports France 24.
