Man United Outcast Jadon Sancho Sees An Unexpected £22 Million Exit Opportunity

Jadon Sancho is one of numerous Manchester United players anticipated to go this summer, including Antony, Alejandro Garnacho, and Tyrell Malacia. Marcus Rashford was also on the list, but he concluded a loan deal to La Liga giants Barcelona.

Sancho spent last year on loan at Chelsea, with an option to purchase. However, the Blues were unable to reach an agreement with Sancho on personal terms and instead returned him to United.

The biggest issue with selling Sancho is his pay. United have stated that they will sell him for roughly £22 million, but the 25-year-old is on a £250,000 per week contract, which many clubs will find difficult to match.

Sancho could move to Inter Milan

Sancho had previously been linked with a move to Juventus as well as a return to Borussia Dortmund, but new rumors in Italy suggest that the English winger could instead leave through Inter Milan.

According to Italian tabloid Gazetta Dello Sport, Inter have identified Sancho as a viable option to Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman, who has long been a target for the Champions League finalists.

They report that Sancho is the “name gaining the most traction” for Inter, since he would cost substantially less in terms of a transfer fee than Lookman, who is projected to command a fee of more than £40 million, with Inter’s initial proposal for the Nigerian rebuffed.

If Inter and Sancho can reach an agreement on personal terms, this might be a fast-moving tale, thanks to United’s willingness to sell and Sancho’s desire to leave Manchester United this summer.

Last year at Chelsea, the winger showed flashes of his brilliance, appearing in 31 Premier League games and scoring three goals and four assists. Moving to Inter would provide him with not only a fresh start, but also the opportunity to compete for league titles and Champions League football.

Are any other players about to leave Manchester United?

In terms of the other players United are attempting to trade, Alejandro Garnacho appears to be the most likely to leave next, given his close ties to Premier League rivals Chelsea.

Garnacho is still being considered by the Blues to replace Noni Madueke, who departed to join rivals Arsenal earlier in the transfer season. Garnacho is set to attract a fee of around £40 million, providing a significant financial boost to United in both transfer funds and PSR terms.

Last year, the Argentine had a successful stay with Amorim, appearing in 58 games, scoring 11 goals and assisting 10.

Antony appears to be distant from a move, as the winger wants to return to Real Betis, where he spent the second half of last season. However, it is understood that Betis lacks the financial resources to match Manchester United’s demands for the winger, resulting in a stalemate.
