Man United Legend Points Finger At Club Chiefs With Maguire Accusation

Manchester United have been accused of “letting down” Harry Maguire by not finding a suitable partner for the central defence after the England star extended his impressive form with the game-winning goal against Liverpool over the weekend.

The former Red Devils captain ignited celebrations in both the away end at Anfield and back in Manchester when he headed home a perfect lofted ball from Bruno Fernandes to secure a 2-1 victory for Ruben Amorim’s team, who for the first time achieved back-to-back Premier League victories under the Portuguese coach.

According to The Mirror, Nicky Butt believes that United have let Maguire down with some of their transfer dealings, not the other way around. The 32-year-old has shown incredible spirit to recover and regain his best form.

“Do you know what you were saying about never letting the club down, I think it’s the other way around, I think the club has let him down, if I’m honest,” the former United midfielder said.
