Manchester United have reportedly been in touch with Inter Milan over the possible signing of Davide Frattesi this summer.

Frattesi has made 89 appearances for the San Siro giants since joining from Sassuolo, firstly on loan, and made 47 appearances for Inter during the 2024–25 season, scoring seven goals and dishing out two assists.

There is presently a lot of speculation around the 25-year-old’s future, as several teams, including Tottenham Hotspur and Atletico Madrid, are reportedly closely monitoring his current situation.

Although, the Red Devils have not yet made an official bid or started transfer talks with the Italian, the report states that Inter are willing to let the Italy international go this summer.

The midfield player is reportedly willing to leave Inter for €35 million (£30 million) this summer, which makes him a very alluring addition given his quality and age.

Prior to joining Sassuolo, Frattesi played for both Lazio and Roma during his youth days. He spent seven years with Sassuolo’s first team, including stints on loan at Ascoli, Empoli, Monza, and Inter.

It is not surprising that several elite clubs are interested in the midfielder this summer given his stellar eight-goal record and 29-time Italy international caps.

Now that Christian Eriksen’s exit from United has been formally confirmed, the team now have room for a midfield addition, and for €35 million (£30 million), Frattesi might be a great deal for Ruben Amorim’s team.
