Manchester United have conducted conversations about a shock move for Brighton full-back Pervis Estupinan, with the Seagulls ‘open to bids’, according to sources.
So far, the Red Devils have signed only two players: Matheus Cunha from Wolves and Paraguayan teenager Diego Leon from Cerro Porteno.
Manchester United have also made two proposals for Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo as talks with the Bees continue to try to reach an agreement on a fee.
And Mbeumo isn’t the only Premier League player Manchester United is hoping to sign this summer, with talkSPORT reporting that the club is also interested in Brighton defender Estupinan.
Manchester United ‘had conversations with the player’s team’ this summer, but Italian heavyweights AC Milan may have a say in where the Brighton star ends up.

Left-back alternatives for Manchester United include Luke Shaw and Patrick Dorgu, while Tyrell Malacia is expected to go on a permanent basis or on loan.
Another player for whom Manchester United hopes to generate finances this summer is Jadon Sancho, after it was reported last month that Chelsea will not exercise their transfer option on the loan contract.
Pedulla adds: ‘This is considerably closer to the €25m asking price, which is considered frankly unrealistic considering he is already into the final year of his contract and has a massive salary.
‘As we already stated, there was increased interaction between Juve and Sancho’s entourage, resulting in a fresh proposal.
‘It is worth £15 million, or around €17.3 million, up from €15 million with rejected add-ons.’
