Oliver Glasner has reportedly turned down the opportunity to sign a new deal with Crystal Palace, raising questions about his future there.
With Manchester United among the avid admirers, Glasner is currently in high demand after orchestrating Palace’s FA Cup final victory and leading the team to an unbeaten start to the season.
After succeeding Roy Hodgson as manager of Palace in February 2024, the 51-year-old has fundamentally changed the course of the team.
In his 71 games as manager, he has only lost 15 of the Eagles’ games, and in May, they defeated Manchester City at Wembley to win their first major trophy.

With three draws and three victories in their first three Premier League games, the Eagles are presently ranked third in the standings.
On Thursday, they take on Dynamo Kyiv in the Conference League to kick off their debut European season. For the south London club, these are exciting times, but they are also unpredictable.
It is generally known that captain Marc Guehi’s contract expires on June 30 since the defender’s £35 million transfer to Liverpool fell through on deadline day. Glasner, however, is in a similar situation as he only has nine months left on his deal.
Glasner Yet To Sign New Contract At Crystal Palace
According to BBC Sport, Glasner was presented with a contract extension offer during the summer, but he chose to hold off on signing it until the transfer market closed.
Openly criticizing Palace’s transfer strategy, Glasner promised to quit if the team sold Guehi without finding a successor.
Considering the Eagles’ low-key window didn’t align with Glasner’s own objectives, it might eventually result in his departure. Only Yeremy Pino has made an impact this season, as the team only added five players—two of them were free agents.
