Man United Are On The Verge Of Signing £70 Million Arsenal Target As Star Discloses Old Trafford Fantasy

Manchester United have surpassed Arsenal in the race to acquire Everton’s Iliman Ndiaye, and the 25-year-old has now shown interest in playing at Old Trafford.

Ndiaye has had an impressive climb to prominence, having previously played for Rising Ballers and Boreham Wood before joining Sheffield United in August 2019. He went on to have two outstanding seasons at Bramall Lane before joining boyhood club Marseille.

However, Ndiaye’s time in France did not go as planned, and he returned to England in July 2024 to join Everton for £17 million.

The versatile attacker, who can play as both a center offensive midfielder and a winger, has emerged as Everton’s most intriguing player. He thrives at one-on-one play and is turning into an outstanding finisher.

He has five goals and two assists in 20 Premier League appearances this season, and his impressive form has piqued the interest of prominent Premier League clubs. Manchester United are competing with Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, and Chelsea to sign the electrifying playmaker.

United have gained a boost in their transfer pursuit after Ndiaye confessed his childhood desire of playing at Old Trafford.

In an interview with FotMob, Ndiaye was asked about his favourite stadium where he had played. He said, “Old Trafford.” “Growing up, this was the stadium you wanted to play in due to its atmosphere and size.”

Not only is Ndiaye considering a big move to the Theatre of Dreams, but United are growing increasingly optimistic about a possible deal.
