Man City Table ‘First Offer’ For Real Madrid Star

Manchester City have reportedly made a first offer for Real Madrid forward, Rodrygo Goes ahead of the summer transfer window.

With Pep Guardiola’s team presently in third place going into the final three games of the season, the Cityzens have fallen short of their high expectations in the Premier League.

Second-place Arsenal are expected to finish as runners-up for the third consecutive season, while Liverpool have already secured the Premier League title.

Guardiola’s acquisition of five new players—Omar Marmoush, Nico Gonzalez, Abdukodir Khusanov, Vitor Reis, and Juma Bah—during the January transfer window marked the beginning of Man City’s rebuild.

In an attempt to return to the top of the Premier League, Guardiola and the Man City board now plan to make another major acquisition in the summer.

According to Defensa Central as reported by Football 365, Man City have made their “first offer” to Real Madrid for Brazilian forward Rodrygo, following the Cityzens’ desire to strengthen their attack.

City are ‘aware that Rodrygo’s situation at the Bernabeu next season will not be easy, and that’s why they want to study the Brazilian’s probable signing again’.

Unless Rodrygo insists on leaving, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez “doesn’t intend to sell him” in the summer. In that scenario, they would be “open to letting him leave if he brings a good offer.”
