Jack Wilshere has reportedly been announced as the manager of Luton Town.
According to talkSPORT, Wilshere has taken over as Hatters manager in his first permanent senior managing position, succeeding Matt Bloomfield.
His assistant is Chris Powell, a former England defender and Three Lions coach.
Wilshere started coaching the Gunners’ U18 team right away when he announced his retirement from football at the age of 30 in 2022.

In October 2024, he left to become a member of Norwich boss Johannes Hoff Thorup’s coaching team at Carrow Road.
After Hoff Thorup was fired, the former Arsenal midfielder took over as manager of the Canaries and was unbeaten in the position.
Despite having discussions about a full-time position, his temporary assignment did not result in a permanent position.
Five months later, he has joined Luton in an attempt to improve the team’s fortunes following a dismal start to the season.
After 11 games this season, the Hatters are now placed 11th in League One.
Wilshere said after he was announced as boss: “It’s a huge honour and a privilege to be named Luton Town manager.
“It feels like a full-circle moment for me. I was eight when I first came to Luton as a boy, so I guess you could say it’s fate that my first full-time club managerial position is at this club.
“I couldn’t be more delighted to be here – I can’t wait to manage this football club.”
