Luis Diaz Sends Message To Bayern Munich Fans On Instagram

Luis Diaz has sent a fantastic greeting to Bayern Munich fans via Instagram after completing his transfer to the German club.

On Wednesday, Bayern confirmed Diaz’s signing from Liverpool. The Colombian winger also completed his first training session with Vincent Kompany.

Diaz has signed a four-year contract until 2029 worth €75 million [£65.6 million].

Bayern finally achieved their targeted aim.

Liverpool first turned down two proposals from Bayern for Diaz, but their position eventually softened.

Diaz stayed professional throughout his stint at the club and gave his all last season, scoring 17 goals across all competitions.

However, after many contract extension negotiations failed, he opted to move on. His agency had been lobbying for the transfer, and it was finally completed.

Bayern desperately wanted to recruit a new winger this summer, and according to The Athletic, he was the finest option available to them.

The Bundesliga giants believe his pressing qualities and versatility are ideal for the current system, which is why Bayern made him the third most expensive signing in German football history.

Bayern previously made a transfer mistake by signing Sadio Mane from Liverpool. However, Diaz’s circumstance is unique. Mane was past his peak when he arrived, while Diaz is in his prime.

Furthermore, unlike Mane, who was deployed to replace Robert Lewandowski in a transitional assault, Diaz has a specific role on the squad.

Luis Diaz wrote a fantastic message

After delivering a poignant statement to Liverpool fans in which he swore to maintain the positive memories, particularly of Diogo Jota, he released another message to Bayern supporters.

He stated, “It’s a joy to be a part of such a famous club with so much history. I am pleased and happy to join you all, and I am as enthusiastic today as I was when I first started my profession.

“My journey has been great, and I never imagined that as a boy from Barrancas, I would get this far. I don’t want to stop here, and I’m confident there is still more to do and accomplish.

“You can be sure of one thing: I will give my best to help Bayern achieve all its dreams.”
