Liverpool’s Plan For New Signing Emerges As Agent Exposes Every Detail After Transfer

Liverpool has finalised its intentions for recent signing Armin Pecsi, a youthful prodigy who moved from Puskas Akademia to the Premier League champions last week.

The goalkeeper, who hinted at the transfer 18 months ago, is Liverpool’s second summer acquisition, following right-back Jeremie Frimpong. Florian Wirtz, his former Bayer Leverkusen teammate, and Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez are both on the verge of joining the Reds.

Giorgi Mamardashvili is poised to join his new teammates for preseason training, after Liverpool confirmed the goalkeeper’s deal from Valencia last summer. This is part of a bigger overhaul of Liverpool’s goalkeeping roster, particularly after the club sold Caoimhin Kelleher earlier this season.

Both Mamardashvili and Pecsi appear to be key members of Liverpool’s squad for the 2025/26 season, as evidenced by discussions about Pecsi’s future representation.

Matyas Esterhazy told Hungarian media site M4 Sport that “Armin will be at Liverpool next season, this was one of the most important links in our decision.”

“We chose Liverpool because they presented a professional plan that we can relate to, and Armin is a highly bright, patient, and driven athlete… We have always maintained that Armin is one of the world’s most valued goalkeepers in his age group, and Liverpool has recognized this, which we are delighted about.

“The time has come for him to make a professional shift and move on with his life. He had various options to select from, and I believe he made the correct decision.”

In the middle of the transfer market frenzy, Liverpool remains interested in signing Wirtz, despite having had two bids rejected by Leverkusen.
