Liverpool ‘Willing’ To ‘Offer’ €130m To Sign The World’s Best Player

With Real Madrid’s position on the Brazil international forward’s future made public, a report claims that Liverpool intends to spend a lot of money on Vinicius Junior during the summer transfer window in order to replace a major Anfield star.

Two of the largest clubs in the world, Real Madrid and Liverpool, are focused on winning the 2025–2026 season. Liverpool wants to win the Premier League for the second consecutive season under manager Arne Slot, while Madrid, under new manager Xabi Alonso, is eager to recapture their La Liga and Champions League titles.

During the summer transfer window, Liverpool and Real Madrid both made moves and added players.

Alvaro Carreras, Dean Huijsen, and Trent Alexander-Arnold joined Madrid this summer, and Franco Mastantuono will join Alonso’s team in August when he turns 18.

The fresh additions to Slot’s Liverpool team are Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerkez, Jeremie Frimpong, Armin Pecsi, Freddie Woodman, and Giorgi Mamardashvili.

However, a Real Madrid-focused news source claims that Liverpool’s manager Slot and sports director Richard Hughes are not done yet, as the Premier League winners are reportedly eyeing an ambitious approach for Vinicius Junior.

“Liverpool offers Madrid 130 million to sign” Vinicius Junior, who was voted The Best FIFA Men’s Player in December 2024 after losing out on the Ballon d’Or award to Manchester City midfielder Rodri, is the headline of Defensa Central’s article.

According to the source, if Liverpool sells Luis Diaz, they are “considering making an offer” for the forward for Brazil.

For Vinicius Junior, the Merseyside is “willing” to pay €100 million (£87 million, $117 million) on fixed fees plus €30 million (£26 million, $30 million) in bonuses.
