According to Italian newspaper Tutto Sport, Liverpool want to beat Chelsea and Arsenal to the signing of Juventus striker Kenan Yildiz.
Although the Reds sought to rebuild their centre-forward lineup by adding Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike last summer, they did not purchase a specialist left-winger despite losing Luis Diaz to Bayern Munich.
As a result, Arne Slot is left with Federico Chiesa, Cody Gakpo, and Rio Ngumoha as alternatives on the left flank. However, the Italian has struggled to play consistently since signing from the Bianconeri last year. At the same time, Ngumoha is still too young to play regularly at the elite level.

Gakpo, on the other hand, has performed inconsistently this season. He was out of play for several weeks due to an injury until returning recently.
Isak can cover on the left if necessary, although he had a difficult start at Anfield before suffering a major injury lately. As a result of his condition, he will be sidelined for an extended length of time.
So, it looks that the Merseyside club want to strengthen the left side of the attack next year. According to Tutto Sport, Slot’s side has identified Yildiz as a real target after being pleased by his recent eye-catching displays, and they may make a formal offer in January or next summer.
However, Liverpool will face difficulties in acquiring the Turkish international, as Chelsea and Arsenal are also interested in him and have been following his progress before making a prospective move.
