Jota, 28, and his brother Andre Silva lost their lives in a devastating car crash in Spain while returning for Liverpool’s pre-season.
The club’s official TV channel has been off-air since Thursday, instead showing a black-and-white tribute image of Jota with a heart gesture.
On-screen text reads: “Liverpool Football Club are devastated by the tragic passing of Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva.”
Jota and Silva were laid to rest Saturday in their hometown of Gondomar, with Arne Slot and Liverpool’s squad in attendance.
The LFCTV tribute will mark the club’s first return to programming, featuring emotional highlights, interviews and messages of remembrance.
Liverpool are also expected to honour Jota during pre-season friendlies and at Anfield upon the squad’s official homecoming, reports Echo.
Jota joined Liverpool in 2020 and scored 65 goals across 182 appearances, becoming a fan favourite and dressing room leader.
As the team regroups for the 2025/26 season, the focus remains on supporting Jota’s family and preserving his legacy at the club.
