Liverpool have already paid a record £116 million to Bayer Leverkusen for Florian Wirtz, and their extravagant spending isn’t slowing down.
In the next few days, the club are expected to contact Rodrygo to talk about a move.

Rodrygo’s worries about his future in the Spanish capital have not been calmed by Real Madrid’s appointment of Xabi Alonso. The Brazilian has started just one of their six Club World Cup games in the US.

The report claims that the Reds will send a representative to Madrid in the next few days to begin negotiations with Rodrygo’s agents and Real Madrid officials.
Madrid want €100 million (£86 million) for the winger, and Liverpool are willing to pay a substantial sum for him.
The future of Luis Diaz may determine whether or not a deal to bring him to Merseyside is made.
