Liverpool Reveal Stunning New Third Kit for 2025–26 Season

Liverpool has announced their new third kit for the 2025-26 season, adding to the collection of throwback shirts using the adidas Originals Trefoil emblem.

A sea green foundation is inspired by some of Liverpool’s most renowned jerseys from the early Premier League era, while the old club emblem appears on the chest for the first time since 1992, one year after Liverpool’s final Trefoil release.

White shorts with green elements, including the club symbol and Trefoil, complete the appearance, as do green socks. Reported By Si News.

Fans have been eagerly expecting the arrival of this third kit, which coincides with a larger apparel drop. The line includes training apparel, Terrace Icons fashion, and even a bespoke Liverpool Gazelle shoe painted in club colours.

Juergen Rank, Senior Design Director at adidas, stated, “With this Third Kit, we wanted to create something that speaks to Liverpool’s incredible heritage while remaining distinctly modern.”

“The reappearance of the Trefoil for the first time in almost three decades is a significant occasion, and when combined with the legendary crest from 1987-1992, the design becomes a true celebration of history. Combined with the Sea Green colorway, which is inspired by some of the most famous LFC adidas kits, we’ve produced a style that is both nostalgic and bold, suitable for both the pitch and the terraces.”

Liverpool last used this emblem during the final season of the pre-Premier League era. The Reds had a disappointing First Division season, but under manager Graeme Souness’ watchful eye, they romped to FA Cup glory.
